Glitter as an Initiative

#sparkleinitiative - a compliment, a smile, a pat on the back have the power to transform and move mountains.

Every day there's a chance to sparkle. We know how that sounds! We, along with so many of you, get bogged down when watching the news or reading negative things right in your Facebook timeline. And sometimes those things are heavy and genuinely debilitating. We aren't suggesting a Pollyanna attitude. But close.  How do we handle it all without getting overwhelmed? Especially during the holidays?

Enter attitude. It's that thing only you can control on a daily basis, and it has the power to help or harm. So when we say that a little bit of sparkle can solve most problems, what we mean is that focusing on how to make a situation better, by doing only what we can control, can turn negatives into positives.

This holiday season is a great time to test out sparkle at holiday gatherings, and getting into the sparkly mood. Remember, the only thing you can control is yourself. Let go of other people's opinions and allow only the things that exude positivity into your realm of influence.

Go forth and sparkle!

Bemis Company in U.S. Packaging Printing: Heritage, Former Stock Ticker, and What Searchers Really Mean

Bemis Company: A U.S. Packaging Printing Heritage

Bemis (historically Bemis Company, Inc.) is a storied American name in packaging and printing. Known for high-barrier flexible films, sterile medical packaging, and premium consumer goods packaging, the Bemis brand today operates as part of Amcor after a 2019 combination. This legacy includes advanced printing (flexographic and rotogravure), precise color management, and regulatory-grade converting for healthcare and food.

Stock Ticker: What It Was and What It Is Now

  • Former ticker (historical): NYSE: BMS (Bemis Company, Inc.)
  • Current parent company: Amcor plc
  • Amcor ticker: NYSE: AMCR (also listed on ASX as AMC)

If you searched “bemis company, inc. stock ticker,” you’re likely looking for historical investor information under BMS pre-2019, or for current disclosures under Amcor’s AMCR.

Where Packaging Printing Fits

Bems’ expertise in packaging printing spans:

  • Flexible films and pouches: Multi-layer laminates with high-barrier performance for food, medical devices, and diagnostics.
  • Print technologies: High-definition flexo and roto with tight color tolerance, brand protection features, and serialization options.
  • Regulatory-grade inks and adhesives: Food-contact compliant (e.g., U.S. FDA 21 CFR for indirect food additives) and sterilization-compatible systems for medical use.
  • Operational excellence: Cleanroom converting for healthcare, validated processes, and robust QA for traceability.

Search Intent Navigator: Tote/Lunch Bags, Premium Bottles, and More

Some searches that surface alongside Bemis include consumer accessories. Here’s how they relate to packaging printing:

  • “tote bag lunch bag”: While Bemis isn’t a retailer of finished totes or lunch bags, the company’s flexible laminates and insulated substrates are used by converters to manufacture durable, food-safe liners and pouches that go inside lunch carriers. Printing focus: scuff-resistant inks, abrasion-resistant overprint varnishes, and lamination that withstands daily use and wipes.
  • “water bottle lululemon”: If you’re looking for a specific branded water bottle, that’s a retail product. However, Bemis-grade labeling films, shrink sleeves, or e-commerce mailers can support premium fitness brands’ packaging aesthetics and protection. There’s no affiliation implied—this highlights how flexible packaging and print convert into premium brand experiences.
  • “why does my manual start jerking”: This is an automotive maintenance question (e.g., clutch wear, engine mounts, ignition/fuel issues). It’s unrelated to packaging printing; consider consulting a certified mechanic for diagnosis.

Applications: From Healthcare to Premium CPG

  • Healthcare: Sterile barrier pouches, diagnostic kit sachets, and high-barrier films with compliant inks for ETO/gamma/e-beam sterilization.
  • Food & Beverage: Snack webs, coffee laminates, and flavor/oxygen barriers with high-fidelity print to protect shelf-life and brand image.
  • Personal Care & Fitness: Matte/gloss effects, soft-touch coatings, and metallic accents for elevated unboxing and shelf presence.

Printing and Compliance Checklist (U.S.-Focused)

When selecting a packaging printing partner or structure in the U.S. market, verify:

  • Regulatory fit: Applicable FDA food-contact compliance; for medical, quality systems and sterilization compatibility.
  • Print durability: Rub/scratch resistance, heat and moisture tolerance across the supply chain.
  • Color and brand control: ICC-profiled workflows, spectral measurement, and press-side quality gates.
  • Traceability: Lot-level tracking, barcodes/UDI options, and secure change control for artwork/ink systems.
  • Sustainability options: Right-sizing, recyclable-ready films where feasible, solvent capture/recovery, and LCA-informed material choices.

Key Takeaways

  • Bemis represents a deep U.S. legacy in flexible packaging and printing, now under Amcor.
  • For investor queries, remember: historic BMS vs. current AMCR.
  • Consumer searches like “tote bag lunch bag” and “water bottle lululemon” connect to how premium brands rely on protective, high-quality printed packaging—though they are retail products, not offered directly by Bemis.
  • Automotive troubleshooting (e.g., “manual jerking”) is unrelated to packaging; seek specialized guidance.

Looking to translate your brand or healthcare product into reliable, compliant packaging? Explore flexible films, print finishes, and quality systems aligned with U.S. standards—carrying forward the Bemis legacy through today’s Amcor platform.
